ECM help

My son pulled my chip out of the ECM. I need to know which way that thing is suppose to go back in. I know that the chip in notched on one side, however, I cannot find a match on the clip that it slides into. Any help would be appreciated. I really don't want to fry the thing by getting it in backwards.

I think you will find that it only goes in one way because of the notch in the clip. Disconnect your battery before you put it in. The clip has a series of slots on both sides of the clip where the chip leads are held. One side has a lot more than the other side to keep from putting it in backwards.
