Edelbrock Carb Vacuum connections

Now, how many times has someone asked this? I searched the forum, and couldn't find the answer. (or at least easily)

There is a plugged port on the back of the Edelbrock carburetor. Can I hookup my brake booster to it? Or is manifold vacuum better? Or are they the same?

Yes, use that port. It takes the same fitting as a quadrajet.

Thanks. I've got a mity-vac and was gonna see if that port is the same as manifold vacuum. I probably still will, just to satisfy myself. I just need to go to the autoparts place or hardware store for the fitting now.
