edelbrock manifold gasket....

im getting ready to install the manifold....im using super blue 2 rtv ...

need to know if i only use it around the coolant ports or do i put it on the whole area of contact?

and do i do both sides of the gasket with the rtv?

Just a SMALL amount around the 4 water ports. If you are using the rubber front-rear gaskets DONT use RTV on them,they willslide out if you do.

I only use ultra rtv,such as ultra copper, ultra black, ultra blue etc...its alot better then the standard blue rtv,I also never use the seals at the ends only a bead of rtv let it set up alittle then install intake on.And yes a small amount around water jackets.
