Whip off the driver side panel from the centre console/trans tunnel. The relay is in there on the tunnel between the ashtray and shifter. Well, that's the case on my 80 - can't think off hand why it would be any different one year later.....
Still it's easy to at least check. Mine was green, but i'm afraid i can't remember the colours of the wires to it. Not to be confused with the alarm relay, which on mine is further up towards the heater controls.
What's the deal with these cars? GM have put the relays all over the interior. I think i've located all mine now, but it was like a bloody treasure hunt!
