'71, coupe
The dash lights on my 71 coupe will not work. Switching on the parking lights blows the 5 amp. fuse for those lights which leads me to believe there is a dead short in that circuit. I would appreciate any thoughts on how to track down this problem. Thanks.
 
Thanks for responding. If by marker lights you mean side lights (my words) they work fine. 71's don't have printed circuits. Thanks again.
 
You are correct. For some reason I thought it was a 77 until I just reread it. (note to self, put on reading glass's first).
 
Start tearing apart the dash and chasing wires. Could be something simple like a bad socket or a crushed or chafed wire.
