Emblem madness

Ok, I'm cornfused. The front emblem went on without any issues... although I still don't feel very good about leaving it up to the adhesive. The rear emblem however, didn't come with adhesive, but did come with a plate, but I'm completely lost on how to put it on and have it secure.
Any help would be appreciated!

exactly which rear emblem are you referring to?? the emblem on the gas filler lid or the "corvette" emblem on the rear facia??

Most emblems are held on with speed bolts or double faced tape..I've seen both..........

It's the "Corvette" emblem on the rear bumper cap.

Mine is just glued on

Mine uses pinch nuts on the backing plate. I think there were three posts on mine, and then ya stick yer hand up in there and slip the nuts/retainers on the posts. If I recall correctly...

I'll have to try and figure it out soon. I'm tired of looking at the holes.
