emergency key for key fob???

I just purchased a 2007 vette that has a key fob different than the picture shows. It says to remove the emergency key from the fob to insert in the slot under the outside of back hatch. The fobs I have do not have the same design. Does anyone know if there is a "key" for the earlier 07 vettes. The manual is wrong in its' description. Thanks in advance.

It's actually purdy simple,but confusing!!:W:W:W
Push little button at top of fob and pull the key out!!

earlier 07's didn't have the new style fob

I found out that the early built 07's used the old style fob that had the Key on a ring. I didn't get the keys with the fobs, but found out who had them, and now I'm set. The book shows the style fob you spoke of, but the book was ahead of the fob. Thanks

I do believe that key fob goes with the '08 and newer C6's, Junk.
