engine # and vin #

while replacing the radiator in my 76 coupe, i cleaned up the front of the block,( which had multiple coats of chev orange), and could finally read the # on the front of the block. the #'s are 16S400342, and V0813CKX. my vin # on the windsheild post are 1Z37L6S400342. am i right in saying this is the original engine for this car? Thanks in advance.
