Engine Bay Color

I need to know what black to use for the engine bay, under body and wheel wells. I tried a search and came up with 0. Can anyone help?

I have always had good luck with this Krylon® Interior-Exterior Semi-Flat Black (#1613)

Others have mentioned using John Deere Blitz Black also.

The underbody wasn't painted - it was natural fiberglass; only the wheel wells were blacked-out.

Yes, i was aware of that but someone has painted under the seats and i'm going to reshoot it. John, do you have a code for the engine compartment. the body is off the frame so i want to do it right.

The engine compartment and wheel well blackout was just a flattened black lacquer with an "eggshell" gloss; don't know the code or mix formula. Krylon #1613 or John Deere "Blitz Black" #PT-107 are pretty close.

John, since I have it on my list to paint the jack storage area wells black (to match my black interior, as the int. color apparently dictates the color in this area) - would the underhood black or the dash black be a better choice, gloss-wise? Or did they use some Tux black on this area?

The storage wells were just shot with exterior paint that matched the carpet color so it looked reasonably nice when you lifted the cover.
