I have Chev. engine block with the number #3756519 stamped on the left rear pad. What size is it, 283, 327, and does it belong in a 1960 Corvette.

That block is a 283, and was used in Corvettes from mid-'58 through late 1961; it was also used in many '58-'62 passenger car and truck applications. What are the stamped numbers on the machined pad in front of the passenger side cylinder head? That will identify its original usage.
