I have an engine block with the following numbers on it can someone indentify it for me?

small numbers: 195733464

Larger numbers: V1016HZ

My guess is V=Flint (engine)10=October 16=day HZ GM suffix code for Year=1969 Cubics= 350 HP= 300 Came out of a Corvette..I can't locate the other number...It may be an obsolete part number.

That is great! I had purchased a 69 Vette with a bigblock about ten years ago and this motor was thrown in with the deal. The guy I purchased it from said that this was the original block. I guess he was telling the truth.
