I was just browsing Carroll Supercharging's website....their gaseous intercooling looks very interesting. I was talking to another forum member who had a alcohol injected GN that he was able to run something like 25psi on pump 93 w/o detonation!!! I would NEVER run boost that high but 16-17 psi safely would be an insane ride :D

Anyone ever considered this?

Surf,

Having a GNX :Steer I have met many a GN folk. I have seen several with alcohol injection. It is interesting but not street legal in Fla.

However, I have seen quite a few GN's running 25 psi of boost. Cal Hartline out of Melborne is running in that range in his 10 sec GN. It's amazing to see his front end lift almost 2 ft off the ground off the line. And this is without alcohol injection.

Since I am keeping my GNX stock, it is only at 15 psi. Still a fun ride but doesn't compare to the Callaway.

Cheers!

:cool

Luigi - when I had my GN, one of the hot things was to install a 7th injector (kinda similar to the extra 2 we have ;) )

I have seen Superchargers kits w/ water injection before - and maybe Gale Banks had used them in the past as well...

Yes....

If you go to www.gnttype.org in the technical area there is a proceedure for installing a 7th injector. There are also recommendations for adding alcohol injection and many other technical items for anyone interested.
