Exhaust Pipe Help

I just installed new exhaust pipes on my 69 - 350/350 and the section of the pipes just after the motor pass within ¾ of an inch of the corner of the fiberglass wells where your feet are located in the cabin. Does any one have pictures of how the pipes pass through this area? It seems that is to close to the fiberglass.

My 75 is the same way, even a little closer maybe. Seems to be OK, did them about 2 years ago.

Thanks, I will take a picture of what I have and post it tonight. If its same thing I will feel better about burning up the fiberglass.
