Exhaust Plate

[C4 Fan]

I just received my new exhaust plate, and I'm not sure it is going to stick. It just has some 3M double sided tape on the back (which I did know when I ordered it, however it looks a little thin to hold the plate on at 100+ ).

Any experiance good or bad, or any ideas any of you have used to stick your plate on.

Had my exhaust plate on for over 3 years. Never a problem. Just be sure to clean the area where your sticking it with alcohol. I even removed mine from my 99 and replaced the tape to re-install. Been up to 140+

Mine has been stuck solid for 18 month with that 3M tape! As Joe Vette says just make sure you clean the area really good with denatured alcohol!

Yes it WILL stick if you clean it carefully.....as a matter of fact, make sure you have it where you want it the FIRST time when you apply it, because you are not moving it after you press it on!!!!

I didn't trust the tape or the fact that someone might like my exhaust plate more than me and decide to pilfer it. I added two flush countersinks to mine and attached it with tri-wing screws and the two sided tape. Not too many people can get a tri wing off.
