I just received my new exhaust plate, and I'm not sure it is going to stick. It just has some 3M double sided tape on the back (which I did know when I ordered it, however it looks a little thin to hold the plate on at 100+ :lou ).

Any experiance good or bad, or any ideas any of you have used to stick your plate on.

Thanks in advance,

Had my exhaust plate on for over 3 years. Never a problem. Just be sure to clean the area where your sticking it with alcohol. I even removed mine from my 99 and replaced the tape to re-install. Been up to 140+

Yes it WILL stick if you clean it carefully.....as a matter of fact, make sure you have it where you want it the FIRST time when you apply it, because you are not moving it after you press it on!!!!

I didn't trust the tape or the fact that someone might like my exhaust plate more than me and decide to pilfer it. I added two flush countersinks to mine and attached it with tri-wing screws and the two sided tape. Not too many people can get a tri wing off.
