I have a 2004 C5 with automatic and have been looking at all the exhaust systems on the market. There are so many out there it is hard to make some sort of decission. The one I am looking hard at now is by GHL. Let me know what are the feeling on the diffrent exhaust.

Thanks....

You're right...there are soooo many exhaust systems that it is sometimes difficult to decide on just the one for you! We had that same issue with our '02. We had 3 friends with C5's parked next to each other at a local cruise night, each with a different system...Borla Stingers, Corsa Indy, and B&B Tri-Flow. Each started their car, reved the engine, idled, then turned it off. This was done several times, and we kept coming back to the Borla Stingers.

When we went to Corvettes at Carlisle this past August, we were going to buy a system and have it shipped home...until we came across a vendor who was installing the Stingers right then and there!! That was it...we had them do it and had the pleasure of driving home (500 miles) listening to the throaty exhaust!:D To us, it's the way the Corvette should sound!!

We love the sound of the Borla.:cool Some don't like the resonance upon deceleration, but it doesn't bother us. The sound inside the car is not overly loud at all. We can still talk and listen to the radio with no problem.

It's all a matter of opinion! Good luck!!!

anybody had experience with Magnaflow v. Borla?

Borla's for me!!

Bit of a buzz when under load at some speeds, nothing I can't live with.

When most of us vette owners decide to do some bolt on mods to our baby, one of the first choices ... the stock exhaust system must be replaced. Then the fun part begins ... based on our budget and limitations, which one will be best for us? Most of the after market exhaust system out there now delivers much better results than the stock exhaust system ... less weight, better performance, aggressive sound and better overall appearrance. And not to mention the added HP our baby gains. I know that the Borla Stingers are overwhelming favorite, and so is the the Corsa, why? Because these are the brands that most vette owners perfer ... just sells itself. I have heard both the RGL and Magnaflow on C5s and both sounded better than the stock, but just my 2 cents worth ... I highly recommend Borla. :upthumbs

Good Luck .... Dan :Steer
