Up through the 1961 model year, all engines had 2" exhaust manifolds. The 1962 300, 340, and 360 HP versions had 2 1/2" manifolds. So the front pipes for these 2 different manifolds are different. But not so different downstream. After the first 6" they are both the same diameter. Downstream of that, the 2 and 2 1/2" versions are the same.
Some of the higher HP models also had cross over pipes in the front pipes. It is thought that cross over pipes do change the sound.
Finally there were 2 different mufflers - the stock oval ones and the "off road" round ones. They definitely change the sound.
