i have a 93 quasar blue corvette that has all the silver badging and the 40th ann. on the fenders. wondering if anyone know's how to find the codes to explain this.

thanks

In 93, all Vettes were considered 40th anniversary cars but only those with the Z25 RPO were 40th Anniversary Editions. The 40th AE cars were all painted Ruby Red with the Ruby Red interior. They also came with the emblems on the fenders.

It may be that a previous owner added the fender emblems. All 93's, with leather seats, have the "40th" embroidery in the head rest.

Quasar blue is a much rarer color (683 out of ~21,000).

Check under you console lid or under the right rear storage compartment lid for your car's RPO sticker. Then compare your RPO list to that here under the "Tech Center" pulldown on the home page.

BTW, welcome to the CAC!!!

I had a '93 quasar blue car... is yours 6-speed? if it is, how many miles do you have? I am curious if it is my old car:)

Mine had the chrome badging on the top hood and gas lid, but not the ones on the hood sides. the next owner could have added that though
