OK Guys I had a nut case back into my 82 rear bumper and left not leaving a note. That being said the question I have has anyone used the EZ Flex bumper covers? If so would you recommend them over the original type bumpers? Any pros and cons?

Did the nut job tear the rear cover???
I have the flex bumpers on mine, they are basically a fiberglass bumper
as you cant get the rubber bumpers anymore...
Ive never seen a bumper cover that goes over the old one....

I can't remember the name of the 3M product... Fusor I think... but that can be used to fix cracks or tears in urethane if there is still enough elasticity and the repair wouldn't require using a ridiculous amount of product to do it.

I had used an ACI bumper years ago.

The tolerances were so crazy between the bumper and the fenders that it was easier to just bond it into the fender and lose the seam line. I guess I could have built up the sides, but it was going to be a mess.
