As you can see it is a 35th Anniversary and for the few members or forum readers that don't know they only made 2050 of them

Of these 2050 less than 180 were manual (4+3)

This is one of those 180

Miles: less than 71,000 (driven a little each day)
Transmission: Manual
Color: White
Interior: White
Removable Roof: Solid Black
Price $13,500 obo
Car runs and shifts (all 7, meaning all OD's work) perfect.

Has Brand new seats from Al Knoch interiors (NCRS approved dealer)

Tires are probably 80% or better.

Paint, rims carpet and glass are all very nice. I would be lying if I said perfect, but equal to a car that has 70K and not abused.

Clean carfax that I ran today That I will gladly forward to you or you can get someone else to do it your choice.

Stereo is a replacement Pioneer (good and bad I guess) but it sounds great and fits as if was made for the car. All speakers work, no cracks or issues.

Car needs weatherstrip, Leather shift handle (worn from holding it) and is missing the sequence number emblem. The two emblems up front are not perfect but your choice on replacing them.

I am asking $13,500. This is my 1st attemt at selling it so far no advertising costs yet. Also I will replace the weatherstrip and shift knob labor free, all you have to do is buy the parts. I know I could buy them and do it before but would be the same in the end...before advertising and the cost to buy you get a better deal (hint, hint) after $13,500K will be firm. I would love to sell this before I have to advertise it, I have a price in mind and every $$ I spend, of course that $$ goes up.

Car is located in Annawan Illinois 61234 and available to be seen anytime. I will deliver for free up to 200 miles (sorry not covered)

Call me or PM me with your number 732-710-1190 (I live in NJ, car is at my in-laws and I actually like them...go figure). Dave Clark

Also don't have a ton of good pictures but as you can see I put up a few and will either send more or put more up....

C4's have just taken a major hit in price the last couple of years. Your car is a knock-out, and the 35 ann. is a car that is well liked. (There is one on eBay right now with 35k miles, check that out if you get a chance.)

For the down-side:

$13.5k can buy a nice 1995 coupe with 70k on it... and that is what you are competing with. So, if you are going to drive the car one is going to have to weigh the option of rarity Vs. newer/more power etc. I hope this info helps, I'm not trying to 'devalue' your car by any means... just showing you a different perspective.

Good luck on the sale!!

I still think the 35th anniversary is one of the best looking C4's around. Good luck with the sale!

Thanks

I appreciate the comments.

The $13,500 is a OBO, but I hear ya and have seen the prices (that are too low in gerenal) around.

If I ended up near $11,500 I would be happy, I just didn't want to start there and deal with negotiation on it even if I said $11,500 firm.

Car really is a head turner, I drive a ZR1 and this in it's own was is as nice.

hey

Make me an offer in the $9600+ range and she is yours!!!!!

Wow, someone should really take the mans offer for that. Then again, I am biased towards the 35th Anniversary models. :D

Im a bit biased towards the 35th but I must say its one of the most visually striking C4 made!!! Eventually due to the rarity of the vehicle the price may spike up. I didnt buy it for that I just enjoy it. If it goes up in price just another bonus!!

Anthony

Thanks

For the bumps and compliments.

Car is ready and waiting for a new home.

Thanks for looking, Dave

35th Question

Just curious, but what number is it out of 2050? The 35th is one of my favorite Corvettes of all time. At $9600, I wish I could afford it.

Jim

Thanks koolaid....

I don't know the number, the sequence plate is missing and I have yet to get an answer on obtaining it (the number, not the plate). The plates are avaiable, rare but available, but without number of course.
You see the 35th didn't go in order.
I have tracked a number of them over the last 6 months and an educated guess would be in the 400 range.

cya for now peeps

Last chance

at this one at this car at $9999....

Looks like I am going to do a combo of Advertising it at a higher price and/or wait till Bloomington Gold in June

.

I have always been aware that the car was/is worth more than the $9999 but I also understand it can be a tough sale even with it's value, collectibility and rariety, it's alot for an '88 unless you find the right person(s).

It's like the ZR1's, in most cases they are worth 2x's a standard C4 or 50%-70% more than a Vert., but not everyone can or is willing to shell that out, thus it can make it harder to sell, in a way.

Anyway, you people are the right audience, and I intend on offering up any and all Vette's I come into at a great value, but there is a point you need to move onto a different venue. As I always said, this was a pre-sale of sorts.

Thanks for all you comments/compliments

on the car over the last 3+ months, but this is the last time I will bump the car up

. See you in the forums for now ond/or til my next car...

Thanks again,
Dave Clark

Dave,

It's so tough selling C4's right now. But at the same time, they're one of the best performance per dollar cars out there right now that will still get anyone chicks! :D I would say wait until Bloomington to sell it. I should be attending this year and would love to see what it sells for.

Thanks

I may go to an auction in ST Louis in April 1st...father-in-law wnats to anyway, I say wait till Bloomington.

I wanted to go to Bloomington with or without a car to sell anyway, so why not make it, hopefully, a free weekend!!:D
