factory alarm

I'm a little lost. Just replaced trany lock out cable thought that was my problem but my alarm still blast when I turn it on. Any ideas?

Evidently the wiring under the hood becomes fried over time. The person before me simply cut and taped off the two wires to make it stop.

I can shut it off with the key, but I'm tryoing to get it to work properly. I believe the wiring is still good,I'm not sure about the thing on the side of the transmission that the two wires run into.

Do a search about alarms. There have been some posts. I have no idea of what the transmission wiring is. Your's may have been improved over the early alarms, which just rang a horn until the battery went dead.

i took it out...

didnt take much to do.....and i like the key fob switch to set it instead of the old key...i have all the parts....there yours if you need any of it pal...chas.
