Fan Switch

Good Morning everyone
I recently bought a fan switch for my 84 and the connectors are not the same. The one thats in it has a flat plug,and the new one is a round hollow brass one. Probably a dumb question,but can I just put a new plug on this. or did I get the wrong part. Any replies would be appreciated.

Look on the other head

That ones the temp sender for the gauge you will find the one you seek on the other head!
