Is it good practice to use an electrical grease in the plug in connectors on C-2corvettes?

Yes, it is - using a film of dielectric grease (available at Radio Shack) on the terminals in the two 8-way multiple connectors on the engine side of the fuse block will protect them from corrosion, which is a chronic C2 issue.
