What's your favorite Corvette magazine and Why?

I bought my '86 about two years ago. I immediately subscribed to "Vette" and "Corvette Fever". I have enjoyed both magazines and I like the how to articles and the technical information the most. Although I enjoy reading about all Corvettes I would like to see more information about C4s. Since these magazines cover all years I usually get about one article a month that helps me. I also find it interesting that both of these magazines are published by the same company. Seems that offer the separate magazines so that you have to subscribe to both, more revenue for them.

What's your favorite and why?

My favorite is Corvette Fever.

I bought this magazine in a newsstand in Amsterdam first in september 1991.

I filled in the subscription and forged my dads signature to get cash dollars
(I was a minor) and sent the envelop by post.

after a year enjoying the magazine My dad renewed the subscription for 2 years with his card. :)

I had a subscription till 1996 and then stopped it because I ran out of money in my study years.

I have no other magazine to compare unfortunately except for some Corvette related magazines of Road&Track.

So I will read this thread attentive and get a new subscription.

My favorite is Corvette Magazine. It is a bi-monthly. I just prefer it over the others. Maybe I just like the Tech Nerd articles.

I subscribe to Corvette Quarterly, Corvette Fever, and Corvette Magazine.

Corvette Quarterly - I like ride reviews and latest information on the new model.

Corvette Fever - Has had many good tech articles and how to maintain/repair older Corvettes. Although, they have made some pretty obvious mistakes lately on C4s that has me rethinking my reup. My collection of CF magazines dates back to January 1991.

Corvette Magazine - My favorite for Corvette photography. It’s printed on a higher quality paper so the images pop more. Tech articles are some of the best I’ve read. Nice collection of well known Corvette tech writers. Quality and accuracy from professional automotive journalists

My Beef :W is that I have multiple CF mags with the same article over and over IE. Brake upgrades for C4's.

C'mon mags let's see some variety, there are more to these cars than Brakes, and suspension.

I usually check out the Mag and if there is any worthwhile content I'll buy it.

Corvette Magazine

While l enjoy this magazine the most, l find that they do repeat themselves over and over again.

What l do enjoy in a magazine are columns like the "Tech Nerd" and interviews with car people from restorations, design, industry insiders.

What l don't like is that they have market reports on all of the series that don't change except for the market values which are way overpriced.

I subscribe to

Corvette Enthusiast

Corvette Magazine

Corvette Fever

Vette.

Right now I'm so mad at Corvette Fever I could spit nails. (I'm keepin' it real clean here, folks.) Some IDIOT takes the lousy envelope containing the WORTHLESS, PITA, "last chance to give a gift subscription" offer and SCOTCH TAPES it to the COVER (not the plastic cover but the actual cover) that had a gorgeous silver shark convertible on it.

Corvette Enthusiast and Corvette Magazine are the two that I would stick with if I had to unload two subscriptions. Better and more varied content and I really like the "slick" magazine nature of Corvette Magazine.

I don't buy corvette magazines because you're mostly paying for advertisements. Take away all the other articles about other model years you're not interested in and you're left with very little useable information. For me, it's far more informative and entertaining to come to CAC, you can find out anything you want to know within seconds.

I like Corvette Magazine. I like it for many of the reasons other shave said and I look forward to seeing the reviews and price chart for each generation.

I also buy "Corvette Magazine" a lot of good info and photos.Same reason i still buy Playboy, both make my engine roar.

Corvette Magazine

I also enjoy the Tech Nerd but their article called market report lists approx values which never made any sense but what does these days.

Whatever I get cheapest!! My $11per yr subscription(through an Ebay clearinghouse) just ran out. Should be getting Corvette Fever shortly through the same outfit. Definitely wouldn't pay $30 per year or cover price on the stand for either of them. Like others say, too much C5 and C6 stuff for us C3 guys. Mike

Try Ebay item 7003310415. I'm now not sure if this is the same outfit that I got Vette from last year as no feedback was exchanged because it takes 10-12 weeks to start getting the magazines. Looks legit, tho. Mike
