i finally got the vette back after 3 weeks or so.... it needed new heads after the head gasket went and it overheated...

i was really disappointed once it was all back together because it is missing REALLY bad.

figure its the plug wires heating up too much, as they are a lot closer to the manifold with the new heads and are burning hot to the touch.... with the hood up, you can see it arking ( blue light, but i was told it was called arking).

does this sound like it could be my problem, and can it be solved with the high temp. wires?

If they're arking you can bet they've already burned a small hole...i'd replace em anyway...I replaced my EGR heatsheild and used the old one on my wires...really keeps the heat away...

just a thought...:Steer
