Fiberglass flexible on floorboard?

I removed all the carpet and underlayment out of the vette in preparation for the new carpet. After lots of scrubbing and scraping, I got down to the fiberglass. I noticed a little flexing, maybe 1/8-1/4 inch I guess in the foot areas. I don't know if this is normal. There doesn't appear to be any cracks or separation either. Attached is a picture of the floorboard, the only thing that looks a little funny is a "patch" under where the passenger seat is (lower right corner where the black screwdriver is).
Please let me know if there is anything else that I should look for and what/ how to fix?
