Jerry, thats a sweet ride! Nice paint job. I'm gonna have to do something about my 30 year old paint one of these days. BTW, if thats a glass fuel filter (I can't tell from the pics) things can get nasty if they break. Congrats on finishing your ride, enjoy the coming weather. Charles

Jerry,

It's beautiful. How can you possibly think anyone wouldn't agree.

Wow, that's a nice Corvette. It looks like it's got a bit of a lift compared to others, sort of sits up a little high off the wheels.

very nice I must say very nice...I love the color...I can't wait till mine is that far atleast it is sanded down that is half the work :)...what type of hoses are those you got under the hood...I wanted to do that to mine also...thanks.

Wow, thats a great looking '73. One of my favorite years. Excellent job!

THANX so much for the positive feedback guys.....I was hoping you'd like it..The color is actually 2004 corvette (of coarse) medium spiral gray pearl metallic with 3 coats of urethane clear.....it changes shades alot depending on the light.
The hood came from vanacor with my own stripe design....
The reason it is sitting so high in the pics. is because I had just taken it down off the jackstands and the suspension hadn't settled yet.It don't usually set that high....
The engine is the original l-82 350 bored +030 with trw 10.5:1 forged pistons,350hp cam, gasket ported 3 angle valve grind stock heads,Edelbrock intake and carb,K&N air cleaner,Mallory tachdrive dualpoint converted to a unilite, msd coil, dynomax ceramic headers thru 2 1/2" chambered exhaust.
The hoses are stock with a stainless steel sleeving covering them.
I'll keep a eye on that glass filter...
Thanx again,:w you guys were alot of help:beer Jerry D.

Nice job Jerry, Now take out and ENJOY IT!!!!!! Good Luck with it.:D

Hey Ryan, Glad you like it...Its taking me awhile to get used to it myself...The car has been black for 10 years and its been 'weird' getting used to it...But now I can't take my eyes off it....I luv it.

The Color is Medium spiral gray pearl metallic,a 2004 vette color, color code is dupont 88u bc/cc......Its very silvery in the sun and almost black in the shade.
I went to a dealer and found one to look at in person before I decided. I still have another month or 2 before I can wax it then it will 'really' shine...
