Was driving home today and looked at the gauges, and what do I see but the Brake Pressure warning light was on. Nothing seemed out of place. The brakes felt good, and were firm. so I dont know. I hope the dealer is open tomorrow.

Brake PRESSURE???

Stick a paper clip in the ALDL interface.

Much cheaper than the dealer.

After you get codes, start bidding here: - ALSO cheaper than the dealer...

I took it into Merchants this morning, it was a bad brake pressure switch. To get it replaced and the entire brake system changed is going to cost about $200. I can live with that. They are haveing to order the part from a dealer in Va Beach, no one around here has it.

Wow. Brake PRESSURE switch? Learn new stuff every day.

Was there no current going to the switch? Did the ground ground out a voltage signal?

$200 to replace the whole brake system? That doesn't sound right... In fact, to me, that smells kinda'

Meant to said it was coing to cost about 200 to have the switch replaced and have the entire brake system bled and fluid changed

I figured that what you meant....as I had to have a similar job done back when we had a Volvo S80.
