First vette, newbie question

I can't find anywhere in the manual nor was it in the video tape, what recommended octane fuel to fill up my 2001 coupe.

I don't know if I should use high octane fuel or if the engine is tuned for 87.

To me You should always use 91 or higher in your C5. You can run 87 but you will notice a lack of power and performance and some engine ping untill the knock sensor picks it up and retards the spark advance and lose even more power, Also your fuel mileage will suffer. :bang I only use 91 because thats the highest I can find in my area, I did at one time use Union 76 Compeitition 100 plus mixed with a half tank of their 91 octane 3 years ago and WOW did it wake-up my C5
