First Vette

Trying to find a little information about this car. Everything is pretty standard, but I've not been able to locate another one like it. Aside from the color (don't remember exactly what the title lists the color as, and it isn't "polo green"), the word "Corvette" is lettered in gold on each side of the center rise of the hood, and also in gold on the doors. I can't even find a picture of another one with the lettering. Is this an aftermarket job?

The lettering definately would fall under the aftermarket classification but does sound interesting - Enjoy your Vette

Update: I was misinformed and have only gotten the car in my possession a couple of days ago. It's actually a 95. I'll see if I can get some pictures of it.

welcome to CAC. you'll find this to be a great place to hang out.

the "gold package" you refer to is an aftermarket item. probably not from a dealer, but from a car show or car auction display. a lot of the larger shows i attend (annual auto show in my area, or larger auctions (like barett-jackson)) have vendors that will either "gold plate" your emblems or sell you a kit to do your own, or sell you new "replacement" badges for your car. that's probably what you have on your corvette.
