Does anybody know who to keep the SYS Light from flashing when I disconnect the stereo in my 96 vette. I want to put in a whole new system(head unit, amp, and speakers) and this is the only thing stopping me.

We had the problem with the system light when we put in a new stereo system. To correct all it took was 2 resistors from Radio Shack. The problem has not returned. If you need to know which wires we had to put them on, I can look it up. Or, you can do a search here. That is where I found the info. Good luck! It was worth it for us to do the stereo upgrade...

Hi Wamp, I don't know if I was doing something wrong or what but I couldn't find anything from searching for SYS in the 84-96 forums or in the knowledgebase. But I finally found what I needed by looking through your posts. Thanks for the help guys.
