I have a '95 coupe. Ran perfect, parked it in the garage, came back out about 4 days later, and it would not start. I cranked it a lot and the engine started to "POP', acting as if it was flooded. I countinued to crank and after a bit of time the car spit and repewed, finally the engine caught, and ran. I drove it and it ran perfect. If I stopped for short periods of time, it would start fine, however, if parted over 3-4 hours, I was back to the same " flooding" problem. Has anyone else had this problem? What do the symptoms point to??

It is sitting in the garage now, flooded...............Ken

Sounds like leaky injector or injectors. Use fuel pressure gauge and look for pressure drop after shut down.
I'm not familiar w/ fuel pressure spec for LT1 or LT4. But i'm sure someonelse will chime in.

Try this

If it is in fact flooded.. as you start hold the pedal down all the way.. this tells the ECM you flooded.. and reduces the amt of fuel delivered during startup.

Vig!
