FOR SALE** Full Set C5 Goodyear Runflats (PICS)

Update!

Meant to re-post here after I recv'd the tires and forgot to.

Thanks to Mike! Tires were as promised and arrived superfast!

Still haven't put them on yet... waiting to make sure I've found all the post Katrina nails before I install. :L

aka Plugs :D

wondered- Still driving that car daily?

Finally had to put new fronts on Susan's Expedition (just before I jack knifed the trailer into the passenger rear quarterpanel.. ouch)
Tire Kingdom did it fast and affordably.

Yep... how can I find all the nails if I don't drive her? ;)

Jackknifed?!? And this was after your mishap on the way to Houston? Rain - remind me never to let you drive my car! ;LOL

Mike,

I had the tires installed on my car yesterday after getting a flat on I10. I was driving 80+ mph when I heard and felt the driver side rear tire go. Scared the beejesus out of me! :eek The car handled well, the flat tire warning and message to reduce speed to 55 mph appeared and I was able to safely continue on to my destination with no problem. After my appointment I drove to my repair shop and used Kevin's truck to pick up the tires at my house and take them to the shop. When we pulled the tire off the car it had a HUGE nail in it.

Kevin and Chris examined the tires and declared them "good" (they're so protective) and mounted them on the car for me.

Thanks again,
Jane Ann

hey JAG - glad you are ok and on the new(er) rubber

Jane Ann, thankfully no loss of control etc. Guess the runflats do their job, another story confirming why I hang with runflats for safety..........Glad you're using the ones you bought ......... how do you plan on fixing the claw marks in your steering wheel??:L

:L Hopefully the imprints will smooth out over time.

And the discoloration on the driver's seat?

;LOL Luckily there was no loss of control there either. Everything clinched up too tight!
