I have found a project car to buy and would like to sell my '81. It has the original 350 engine with a 350 auto. trans. It is a great driver that gets 17 MPG. The car has 85,000 miles.
The good:
Very,very clean.
Absolutely no rust.
Runs great.
Many new parts in the last 2 years, including: Water pump, radiator, fuel pump, shocks, all u-joints, diff bushing, 2 calipers. Rebuilt carb.
Interior is very nice.
Original AM/FM Stereo Cassette works well.
The not so good:
Passenger side glass T-top has a cracked corner. Not visible from inside the car.
A/C parts had been removed by "Bubba", have everything except the condenser.
The paint is the original Charcoal on the top, but someone gave it the 2-tone treatment with silver on the bottom (probably to save on the cost of a whole repaint). It is a good "10-footer" as they say.
