Okay, I just posted about a mini-ram intake, now...does anybody have any experience with the forced air style intake? Does it make noticeable power, or is it just pretty?

Thanks,
Jeff

It would only be noticible at speeds in excess of anything legal in this country. ;)

_ken :w

Is there a better intake out there? Something that just blows it away (no pun intended)?

Do you mean the Cold air/Forced Induction stuff?

It wont do you much good below 80mph, would help trap speeds in the 1/4 just a little, not worth what you pay really.

Well I have forced/Ram air on my car and I can tell you it does make a difference and I don't need to be doing 80 MPH to notice it.

I have the same thing as Supernatural, but black, and he is right. I dynoed the car after installing it and I picked up about 2hp across the board. I then took a leaf blower and put it in front of the car to simulare air flow and I picked up an average of 5-7hp across the board and in some places I picked up 10-13hp. More proof would be the WS-6 and SS F-bodies. They have Ram Air thats adds 15-20 hp.
