Many of us are members of other local & national Corvette organizations. However, due to our interest in solid axle cars, we often have more common interest with the '53-'62 crowd, than with the owners of newer Corvettes. With this in mind, we are inviting all Florida SACC members to join us in forming a regional chapter of SACC, called the Sunshine State Solid Axle Corvette Club (SSSACC). Membership in the chapter is open to all SACC members; however, we expect that most of the membership will be made up of Florida residents & "snowbirds." Regardless of where the members call home, we share a common connection. Members want opportunities to drive their cars, meet other owners, and learn more about the solid axle Corvettes they love! Therefore, it is the intent of the Florida chapter of SACC to create a venue for those activities. Possible events could include: regional or local Corvette shows, scenic road cruises (breakfast or lunch run), Corvette restoration shops, museum tours, weekend gatherings, workshops, etc.

If you have an interest in becoming a charter member of the Sunshine State Solid Axle Corvette Club, please complete & return the application form found on our website at www.sssacc.org. Or, better yet, stop by and visit us in the SACC tent at the January 21-24 NCRS Regional in Kissimmee, FL. In addition, we will be having a meeting in the SACC tent at Kissimmee on Friday, 22 Jan, at 4:30 PM to discuss the chapter and begin planning the event schedule for next year.

For additional details, please contact me off-line at sssacc-editor@sssacc.org.

I'll be there, too!

Sounds like a good idea and quite a few solid axles in FL.

See you in January!!

Welcome to the CAC and good luck with the new chapter.

Our thanks to the Florida NCRS folks for providing a tent to SACC for use in signing up new members. And, we signed up 36 new members from the Pan Handle to Key West. Give a day or so and our web site at www.sssacc.org will be fully operational.

Thank you Ron and fellow SACC people

Special thanks to Ron and the other SACC people for manning the SSSACC tent for the three days. It was great getting a chance to say hello to other SACC members from Florida to Canada. We're looking forward to our first Florida event, possibly as early as March.

Good Luck, it's a great group

You will have a blast. So. Cal Chapter is now having it's 5th Anniversary. It seems like only yesterday five people got organized. Today over 150 people from all across America are members. One of the best parts of the club is we drive our cars !

Now we have another excuse to travel to the Southeast.

Who wants to help me find the other missing SEBRING race cars that are hiding somewhere in Florida? Not to mention Smokey Yunick's engines and stuff.
