Taken from an off topic post,
Certain C4's were destined to become "Classics" like the low volume and unique models such as (but not limited to), Callaway Corvettes, Corvette Challenge cars, ZR1's, and Grand Sports. There is also a large following of the 89 ZF6 spd cars, Ruby cars and Z07 suspended cars..
(I also think 1988 4+3 Vettes w/ sport interior & Z52 will find a place in the spotlight at some point)
Most of the other C4's will maintain their values by keeping up their condition and I think like the C3 series, C4 future prices will be based upon condition and options NOT the mis-guided notion that "newer is better"

When the C5 came out, it seems the C3's became classics. I guess two generations ago means classic.
