New to the CAC so forgive me if this question is not properly formatted.

I need a new bra for the front end of my 81. I bought the car about a month ago after it had sat for over 3 years in a garage. The old bra is starting to come apart at the seams. I'm looking for one similiar, that is a one-piece which also covers the headlamp covers and has the Corvette symbol on the front. Black in color.

Suggestions????

Thanks,
John

check zip, ecklers, mid america etc. i'm sure one of them have it.

or you could just take the old one off

:D It's amazing how similiar our colors are. I took it off the other night and found way too many chips and dings on the front. I think that's why the guy put one on to begin with. Thanks for the info though, I'll check them out. I really want one that covers the headlamp covers and that seems to be the sticky point.

I don't know if you can tell or not from the pic, but its a pearl white.

:cool YEAH??? So is mine. When I bought it, he gave me a folder of receipts. One was for the paint job about 5 years ago. Having said that, I'm not sure why the front is so scratched??????

Check out invinca-shield web I have seen many cars in our club with them. They are clear and do protect the front end paint.

always a possibility the scratches are BECAUSE of the bra.
that's one reason I never actually liked bras on my cars. They can flap around while driving if not designed or attached properly and even just one grain of sand or dirt under the bra while driving the car can cause bad scratching.
To me it was just a trade off - risk a few rock chips without a bra or risk scratching the paint with a bra. Since i figured in either case the front was was most likely going to get some damage or abuse no matter what, I choose to just save my money and not buy bras.
