OK, Have my front suspension disassembled. Mostly everything is pretty easy to distinguish between left and right side of car. Took pictures of everything for reference. Couple weeks go by. Taking my time cleaning and painting everything with POR 15. And I go to assemble the spindles and to my dismay I can’t tell the spindles apart. The steering knuckle dust shield and caliper bracket are obvious but the spindles look identical. So my question being. Are the spindles the same left to right? :confused

They should be different because of the tie rods.
the tie rod ends should be down and facing the rear of the vehicle.

Thanks for the reply Bill. I was referring to the actual spindle itself. I’ve been checking a few parts vendor websites and there seems to only be one part number for the spindle alone so I assume they are symmetrical from left to right. I’m just going to put them back together. I at least have a 50/50 shot of getting it right lol

The spindles themselves are the same for the left or the right. The steering knuckles are side specific.
