I am selling my 1963 Corvette Roadster that I have owned since 2002. In 2005 I was pulling the motor to rebuild it and went crazy. By the end of the day the body was off the car and the drivetrain was on the floor. At that point I decided to restore it the way I wanted it, making it more of a Retro-Mod / Pro-Touring that I could drive anywhere. Two years later the car has a 383 stroker, 5 speed and 373 gear. It’s a joy to drive anywhere and as far as you like without wearing out your motor, your ears or your butt. Unfortunately my health doesn’t really allow me to enjoy the car. The car has 733 miles on it since it was restored and the new motor was installed.
This is not a 100% perfect ‘Show Car’ like you see on Barrett Jackson but it’s not $100,000 - $150,000 either. It is an excellent ‘Driver’, very reliable and very fast.

CAC has a sense of community that other forums seem to lack. Nothing says you have to leave if you don't have a Corvette anymore. I know of a good number of folks here who don't have Corvettes anymore. In fact, I'm about to become one myself. I will be looking for one eventually but not until I financially recover.

The car Sold unfortunately. A gentleman from Australia came in and purchased it minus all the original parts which I will be putting up for sale soon. I have motor, transmission, rear diff., drum brake trailing arms, front drum brakes and a set of original gauges. The motor is from a 64. I will be posting the VIN to see if the owner of the matching car is on the forum and would like his original motor back. Thanks everyone
