Hi All!

This is the lowest I have ever seen a 1997. For anyone looking for an entry into the C5's, this could be the one:

Year/Model: 1997/Coupe
Engine: 350
Horsepower: 345
Transmission: 6 Speed Manual
Miles: 92000
Exterior: Black
Interior: Black

Comments:

Fully loaded excellent daily driver. New Goodyear Eagle F1 EMT run flat tires and brakes in February '03. Includes a set of shop manuals, original dealer window sticker and video. Miles are mainly highway miles and the car is very echanically sound. I'm getting 33 mpg highway @ 75-85mph. Driver side seat belt sensor and fuel sensor need to be replaced. Estimated cost is $450. Bose sound, cargo net, cargo shade, dual power seats, clear roof panel, dual zone climate control, selectable suspension.

Price: $15,000.00
State: WA

Awfully tempting!

We paid just a grand below that for our 96' with 52k miles. Im sure this C5 is much nicer and cleaner, but just cant talk Susan into it. haha

Baby on the way in December, new house closed last week so funds being diverted that direction till we pick up some more pieces of rental property.

Thanks for listing though!

Man, that IS a great price! If I could sell the '78, I would definitely take a look at this one. The wife would be MUCH happier to rid herself of the OLD car, lol...

Hey Comet! Ihave a 97 coupe also w/ 50k and expect to get 200k before I decide, or have enough $, for a Mallet motor. That "is" a bargain price! If I didn't get mine 2yrs ago, I would buy it. My 97 is flawless, and has given me no trouble at all! No engine lights ever! I average 28mpg all highway mi. People don't realize that these cars live at 1800 rpm which is just above idle. The electronics will fail before the engine and trans will. And if it is daily driven, the electronics will also last too. Most people wonder why their low mi. cars are plauged w/ problems. Sitting in a garage is the worst thing these very sophisticated cars will do: All those sensors, some active while not running, will do "funny" things when asked to perform after sitting for weeks/months. Your 97 looks the same as an 04 side by side. The only difference is more electronics. Less is better, just ask the guys what happens when their active handling goes a wry. Probably more than .02, just want to defend; hopes this helps you sell ! les
