Just checking back on my Corvette for sale listing here. I looked at a few other c-4's here and none seem to be selling. Has anyone sold a C-4 here recently ?? .

I guess the market for Corvettes in general isn't good either. I have been noticing a lot of Vettes for sale that are not selling. In fact I work about 10 Blocks From Kerbeck Corvettes of Atlantic City... He's got at least 40 tp 50 C-6 Corvettes parked in a line left to right .. directly up against the front fence. Looks like he's having trouble selling C-6's...

He has never parked so may up front in the 20 some years I have been driving by on the way to work.:confused

it's a shame it didn't sell earlier - your's a beautiful C4 and with the supercharger......WOW!
At this point as you know it's not the best time of the year to try and sell it and get the best price, so you may be hanging onto that thing until Springtime now.

Thaks Barry,
Really in no rush to sell.. if it Sells it Sells... It'll be a great car for some one ..it's sweet...

That is a very sweet looking 86!! What exactly does a "water/alcohol" injection blower system do? I semi understand the forced air induction systems. Good Luck in the sale!

Thanks!!

If you go to http://www.carrollsupercharging.com/ and then click on "Gaseous Intercooling" It will explane it all. It's sort of a hard site to nav on and the page will take time to load but there is some great info their.

Basicly... a mixture of water and alcohol is injected at the throttel body blades into the plenum. The fluid is held in a small pouch in front of the radiator and feeds a high pressure pump. The Pump is controled by a computer which monitors the motor. When you demand power the puter regulates the pump which injects the mixture thru a special High Pressure Nozzel into the plenum.

This lowers the combustion temp as well as preventing detonation which could damge the motor. By changing the amount of the mixteure you can add more alcohol for more power.

The system works very well in the summer months and helps keep your combustion charge cool for more power when needed..

Carroll was the first to offer and design a Suppercharger sysem for the Corvette. Everone else now emulates his systems ..except where patten applies.

In other words...he makes the highest quality kit there is..
