Bilstein controller for 92-95 Z07/FX3 cars.

This controller has the removable chip socket and is fitted with an Autocross chip. (have a drag race chip also)

The chip/controller allows the driver to select full stiff shock setting without regard to the cars speed (factory programming). This comes in handy for autocrossing where the stiffer shock settings are desired at slow speeds.

I sold my C4 last year and I've still got this controller. Paid over $200 for it. I'll take $50.

Want more info, PM me.

Hi Tuna,
Is this the Doug Rippies device? I'm checking with them to see if its compatatible with a 91. I AutoX my Z-07.

I did not order mine from Doug Rippie.

It looks exactly like the factory controller in every way until you open it up. Even then, the only noticable difference is that the chip is removable vice being soldered in place.

I do not think it is compatible with 91 and older cars but I'll take a look at it and the paperwork again to make sure.

If it will work with a 91 zr1 with upgraded shocks. I will take it.

I just looked at the paperwork that came with it, the controller is compatible with 89-95 model years but the chips I have are for the 92-95 model years.

I guess GM changed the way the shocks work in 92. So, I'm guessing that the autocross and drag chips I have will not work properly on a 91 or older FX3 system.

I think you're correct, there is a difference in the number of degrees the adjuster shaft rotates between the two and the number of different step positions commanded by the controller.

If you still have it, I can buy it via paypal tonight!
Thanks!
Chris
