I need a fuel filter for my '64 327/300. It's an AC filter # GF90. Many places advertise them but they can't get them. Anyone know of a reliable source?
Thanks for your help again.:confused

I just posted this on the NCRS forum for you ... but here ya go again. Long Island Corvette Supply 800-466-6367 part#40A ...Ed

You get thanked twice for this one. It's on the way from LIC. Thanks.:upthumbs

You're in Richmond? You realize that Zip is in Richmond. Don't know if they have the correct piece. But they are a major old Corvette parts supplier. (What I'd give to be able to drive over someplace and order parts for my C1 over the counter.)

attret00, I too have wondered in the past when you ask where to get something and I too have pointed you to ZIP. Have you had a bad experience with them? Please explain b/c if so we need to know so we (those of us on the forum) don't get had by a vendor... Dave..

ZIP is the first place I tried for the filter and it was them that first told me of the discontinuence of the GF90. I get most of my parts from them. However I've found that when they say a part is on backorder it is usually shipped in a Corvette Central box. When they say backorder I shop around and it saves sometimes 2 weeks on delivery. ZIP's backordering is slow. Hope this helps and explains. Yes, it is great to drive over to a supplier and check out parts before you buy. I highly recommend them if they have it in stock.
