Add Clear Fuel Filter to Hard Line

Hello,

I have a '61 Corvette with a 327. I need to add a clear fuel filter to the line and have two questions. How can I make room for the filter with the hardline, and what is the best clear fuel filter to use?

Are you talking about an aftermarket plastic in line filter or a glass sediment bowl style like older Corvettes came with?

I was originally referring to the inline, glass filters. It was a temporary setup, but I've since gone with the GF48, sediment style filter. Finding the correct fittings to make everything work with somewhat problematic, but I seem to have gotten it all pieced together.

That's good. Sometimes it seems like the auto parts store has every fitting except the one you need.
