Hello all. Quick question. What do you use to remove the large fuel filter nut? I've done this before, but I can't remember what I used. From the looks of the nut, it wasn't exactly the right tool. I don't want to strip it this time, so any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

John

I think it was a 1" combo wrench,I used the open end to hold it while I loosened the little one and the the big to take it out as they both loosened up to gether when I went to loosen them,

I just changed mine last weekend...

You need a set of flare nut wrenches. They look like a box end with a cutout to slide over the gas line. SEARS

Yep, a 5/8 line wrench and a 1 in. open end.
