I put the new AFPR on the car today, and all looks good. I put the guage on the car and the needle jumps around very much. It is hard to actually tell where the pressure is set. On my bro's car, the needle is steady within 2 to 4 psi. Mine will jump back and forth from 40 to 60, then settle down for a second jumping only 5-8 psi. Not sure what would lead to the needle jumping.

I was told it could be a grounding strap problem on the fuel pump, that possibly there is a bad connection causing the fuel pump to pulse as well.

Open to suggestions???

That would be my guess Craig. Maybe the "sock" on the end of the pump is dirty. Have you changed your fuel filter recently? The fuel pump itself may be getting ready to go on you.

:w

I replaced the filter when this whole lean thing started.

I was able to get some scans, dont know if I recorded anything, just monitored. I will email you.
