Help! fuel problems

Have to spray gas into it to get it to start then it runs great n starts the rest of the day is there some kind of relay or something.1988

Does the fuel pump run when the key 1st turned on?
What fuel pressure do you have at the rail when it primes?
Does the pressure hold up? ( how long ?)
