Is there an easy, idiot-proof way to replace the fuel pump.
I'm back to considering bad fuel as the cause of my rough running / sometimes no-start when warm condition. I'll have the fuel pressure checked but it may be a non-constant issue so I'm thinking about pulling it to check for a clogged intake screen, and also check/replace the regular fuel filter.
I'm just planning ahead with the fuel pump replacement.

Fuel pump replacement on C4's is a pretty easy job. Remove the fuel filler door, remove the rubber boot, disconnect the hoses/wiring harness, remove the screws and pull out the pump. Should be about a 40 minute job.

Ohhh thankew. That seems idiot-proof enough for me!!
