I have an 87 Corvette. My problem is I get a no start situation. My mechanic replaced the fuel pump and it ran for a couple of days then I got my no start situation again. Took it back to my mechanic and he fixed it again, although not sure what he did and again it ran for 3 days and then in the morning a not start situation. My mechanic says that if it doesnt start again that the fuel pump sending unit needs to be replaced. My question is can a bad fuel pump sending unit cause a no start situation?? even though a new fuel pump was installed.?? any help would be appreciated.
