Not only are they bank fired, the injectors are wired in parallel. 4 injectors at 16 ohms nets out to 4 ohms to the ECM. 3 injectors at 16 ohms and 1 at 3.2 ohms is only 2 ohms to the ECM. From experience, anything around 3 ohms or less on either bank is when the ECM thinks it has a short and will not pulse the injectors. Just one bad injector in either bank can cause issues like a no start condition. The ECM is protecting itself from overheating.
